The Huawei P20 Pro has become the first smartphone in the world to sport a triple lens rear camera setup and the best part is that things only get better from here on! The main camera has a 40MP ultra-high resolution sensor, which is backed by a 20MP monochrome sensor that assists in capturing more details and image processing. Apart from these two, there’s a third telephoto lens which allows the phone to use a 3x optical zoom (or 5x hybrid zoom).
The Huawei P20 Pro comes at a 10MP default mode, though users can choose between 40MP and 10MP camera resolutions. The 10MP camera mode gives you a lot more detail and keeps noise in check, while allowing you an option to activate 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom -- all of which translates to better photographs in low light conditions.
Huawei, in its latest flagship, has managed to slip in multiple camera modes that give photographers a better hand at composing images as per their likes and at the same time, as a provision to those who like to click images on-the-go without having to adjust the settings, it has used AI to recognize scenarios to automatically come up with the appropriate camera settings.
The Huawei P20 Pro’s camera has not only set a new benchmark in low-light photography but has become a device that has proved its mettle in almost every scenario.
